CRNA Responsibilities: As a CRNA your responsibilities will include:
- Administering anesthesia and closely monitoring patients during surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
- Collaborating with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans.
- Administering appropriate types and dosages of anesthesia medications to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Monitoring vital signs, adjusting anesthesia levels as needed, and responding promptly to any complications or emergencies.
- Providing post-anesthesia care and ensuring patients' smooth transition from anesthesia to recovery.
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist License.
- Licensure from the Maine State Board of Nursing or Compact Licensure.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification.
- CALS certification is preferred.
- Experience in providing anesthesia services in a hospital or surgical center setting is preferred.
