We are seeking an experienced communications professional to serve as the communications lead for New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM), the $370 billion asset management business of New York Life.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute external and internal communications strategies to advance NYLIM's business objectives.
- Create and execute a comprehensive strategic communications plan to enhance the reputation and visibility of NYLIM and its leaders.
- Build trust and confidence with the CEO of NYLIM and NYLIM's executive leadership team through informed communications advice and counsel.
- Craft consistent and compelling messaging and storytelling through speeches, presentations, and correspondence for the CEO.
- Implement communications best practices to spotlight the investment leadership and expertise across the business and galvanize support for the CEO's vision and goals with a highly engaged workforce.
- Undergraduate degree
- 12+ years of external and internal communications experience
- Extensive experience in investment/asset management or financial services industries preferred
- Skilled in building trusted advisory relationships with senior executives and their teams, strong partnerships across the organization, and managing outside partners/agencies/vendors
