The Transportation Dispatcher is a critical role at Woodgrain, responsible for coordinating and planning daily transportation activities across multiple facilities. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage a fleet of internal drivers and ensure seamless execution of transportation tasks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Shipment expediting and rerouting to meet customer and company performance expectations

• Coordinating with internal stakeholders, including Shipping, Production, Account Managers, Finance, and Sales to provide exceptional customer service

• Utilizing SAP to manage schedules, routes, and driver assignments

• Analyzing metrics to identify areas for improvement and implementing process changes

• Managing driver performance, conducting interviews, and overseeing training and approvals

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize transportation operations and improve efficiency

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)

• 2+ years of experience in transportation planning or a related field

• Strong computer skills and proficiency in ERP and TMS systems

• SAP experience preferred

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
