Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and checkout various systems utilizing codes, company procedures, engineering drawings, and personal analysis.
  • Work with prime electrical contractors as required and develop a positive interface with customers to ensure confidence and satisfaction with system installation.
  • Install raceways, cables, and wiring to meet local or national codes, standards, and customer system requirements.
  • Mount and terminate controls equipment as needed and assist sales with electrical estimates.
  • Check out wiring and terminations of field-installed equipment with test instruments and keep management informed of job needs, progress, and issues.
Requirements:
  • Educational background in electrical installation techniques or formal training.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings and working knowledge of local codes as it applies to controls.
  • Experience in scope determination of installation materials and ability to work independently.
  • Journeyman's license and four years' experience directly with controls installations (preferred).
