Job Summary:

A registered professional who provides therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with speech, language, hearing, oral motor, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. Provides coordinated care to patients of all age groups. Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well-being. Participates in the coordination of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with speech, language, hearing, oral motor, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.
  • Coordinates care with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Develops and implements patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well-being.
  • Evaluates patient progress and makes adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.
  • A Speech-Language Pathologist completing Clinical Fellowship (CF) with appropriate supervision from a certified and licensed S.L.P.
  • Current state license in the state of practice.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Problem-solving skills necessary to accomplish the job.
  • Good communication skills and ability to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients' family members, and facility staff.
  • Ability to meet all local health regulations and pass post-offer drug test.
