Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team at American House Senior Living Communities. As a key member of our care team, you will provide personalized support and care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide residents with personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping is maintained, adhering to company policies and licensing rules.
  • Complete housekeeping, dietary, and life enrichment tasks as needed to meet resident needs.
  • Interact professionally with other staff, visitors, and family members, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
  • Comply with company policies, standards, and licensing rules, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for residents.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the supervisor, supporting the overall mission and vision of American House Senior Living Communities.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff.
  • Dress and behave in a professional manner, adhering to company standards.
  • Able to perform shift work, including some weekends and holidays, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
  • At least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and physical, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for residents.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a bonus, but not required.
