Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class B Delivery Driver to join our team at Airgas in Hillsborough, NJ. As a key member of our dry ice logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering dry ice to customer locations in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a straight truck with a lift gate to deliver dry ice to customer locations
  • Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment as needed
  • Issue or obtain customer signatures on receipts for pickup or delivery
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain accurate driving log information and data
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections on trucks according to DOT and company maintenance checklist
  • Comply with all company policies, safety policies and procedures, and DOT and OSHA requirements
Requirements
  • Class A or B CDL driver's license
  • One year experience driving a commercial vehicle or diploma from an accredited truck driving school required within the last four years
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
Benefits
  • Rate of Pay: $25.00- $27.00/hr DOE
  • Overtime after 40 hours/ week (Double time for work performed on Sundays and Holidays)
  • Safety Bonus- Varies
  • Per Diem Pay-$35
  • Referral Bonus Pay- $1000
  • Paid weekly via direct deposit
Work Schedule
  • Schedule-5 Day Work- Monday- Friday
  • Hours- Approx 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM (or when deliveries are completed)
  • Average 40 hours per week
  • Miles per week: 600
  • 6-10 Stops per day
