Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver CDL B to join our team at Airgas. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering dry ice to customer locations in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a straight truck with a lift gate to deliver dry ice to customer locations
  • Issue or obtain customer signatures on receipts for pickup or delivery
  • Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate driving log information and data
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections on trucks according to DOT and company maintenance checklists
  • Comply with all company policies, safety policies and procedures, and DOT and OSHA requirements
  • Secure cargo prior to and during transit
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck
Requirements
  • Class A or B CDL driver's license
  • One year experience driving a commercial vehicle or diploma from an accredited truck driving school required within the last four years
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment

Work Environment

As a Delivery Driver CDL B at Airgas, you will be working in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be responsible for delivering dry ice to customer locations in a safe and efficient manner. You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
