Men's Designer or Senior Designer

KITH is seeking a talented Men's Designer or Senior Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality collections that meet our brand's standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Senior Design Director to research, develop, and design collections that align with our brand's aesthetic.
  • Manage the design process from initial sketch to production, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain the cohesiveness of assigned product categories, ensuring consistency and excellence throughout.
  • Execute tasks and projects with attention to detail and a sense of urgency, meeting all department deadlines.
  • Create technical packs with detailed specifications, including construction details and trim/fabric information.
  • Accurately size graphic and textiles according to designs, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Update sketches and BOMs as necessary, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Participate in meetings, taking detailed notes and communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Communicate with overseas and internal partners on updates and changes to the assortment, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Ensure the highest quality of all category products, meeting our brand's standards and expectations.
Special Projects and Tasks:
  • Attend all fittings, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Partner with Tech Design for fit-related tasks and seasonal development, ensuring accurate and timely results.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience working in the apparel industry, with a strong understanding of garment construction and fabrics.
  • Comfortable working on all product categories, including wovens, knits, and sweaters.
  • Quick and strong Illustrator sketching skills, with the ability to create high-quality designs.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction and fabrics, with the ability to apply this knowledge to create exceptional collections.
