Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Indigenous Literatures and Cultural Studies
- Develop and maintain a research program in Indigenous Literatures and Cultural Studies
- Contribute to the development of the department's curriculum and programs
- Participate in departmental and university service
- PhD in English, Native American/First Nation/Indigenous Studies, or a related field
- Strong record of excellence in teaching and research
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion
- Ability to teach and mentor students from diverse backgrounds
- Experience teaching and mentoring students from Indigenous communities
- Research expertise in Native North American literature, print culture, rhetoric, new media, and multiple modalities of writing
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds
