Job Summary:
Laredo College seeks a qualified Dual Enrollment Instructor to provide instruction and monitor teaching/learning effectiveness in courses assigned by the Department Chairperson/Director, with the approval of the Dean and the Provost/Vice-President of Academic Affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction to students in assigned courses.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to promote student learning and engagement.
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
- Stay current with developments in the field of physics and incorporate relevant technologies and pedagogies into instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessments.
- Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to improve teaching and learning.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physics or a related field.
- Teaching experience in physics or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
