Physician - Psychiatry: Inpatient (Casual) Position

Seeking a Psychiatrist for Inpatient Psychiatry TeamWe are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Team at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with world-renowned experts to manage and treat individuals with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Care for patients on general adult inpatient mental health units, as well as specialty units including young adult, geriatric, and detox.
- Join a team of 7 Psychiatrists and 7 PMHNPs.
- Average daily census is 12 beds.
- Enjoy practicing in an excellent team environment and receive great ancillary and administrative support.
- Casual
- Day shifts with weekend shifts optionally available
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Psychiatry residency training program.
- Board-eligible/certified with the ABPN.
- Licensed or ability to acquire a medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota.
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
Our partnership with M Health Fairview represents a collaboration between University of Minnesota Physicians, University of Minnesota Medical Center, and Fairview Health to build a nationally known academic health system. This partnership provides access to consultation, collaborative management, or referral with University of Minnesota Department of Psychiatry, University of Minnesota Physicians, and Behavioral Healthcare Providers.
