About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Radiology Associates of North Texas. This is a hybrid position (3 days onsite in Ft Worth, TX, 2 days remote) requiring a proactive and analytical professional who can stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.

Job Summary:

  • Design and deploy security solutions, including intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and endpoint protection platforms.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure secure system architecture.
  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's systems and data.
  • Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents, including malware and phishing attacks.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement remediation strategies for security incidents.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to address and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development of playbooks and procedures for incident response activities.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on security-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a cybersecurity or related IT role.
  • Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and secure network design.
  • Experience with networking, operating systems, and Active Directory security.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

Compensation and Benefits:

This position comes with an estimated annual salary of $110,000. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
