We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Working Lead to join our team at Skookum Contract Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our HVAC technicians, ensuring that all installations, diagnoses, services, and repairs are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Install, service, and repair environmental control systems in various settings, including residences, department stores, office buildings, and other commercial establishments.
- Responsible for completing all assigned tasks, including documentation, training, and quality control.
- Communicate effectively with technicians, schedulers, and material coordinators to ensure seamless repair processes.
- Train new employees, assist in work assignments, and evaluate employee performance.
- Make difficult diagnoses and suggest solutions and repairs to customers and technicians.
- Minimum of 8 years of HVAC experience.
- HVAC and/or EPA certification required.
- Must meet all North Carolina licensing requirements at a Master's or Journeyman's level or have a North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Certification or ESCO Institute HVAC Excellence Professional Level Technician Certification.
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance.
- Lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
- Reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time.
- Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking.
