About the Job

Astor Services is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Youth Support Specialist to join our team. This role will provide crucial support and training services to youth facing various challenges in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will function as a member of our team, delivering Youth Peer Support and Training Services. These services encompass formal and informal supports aimed at empowering youth to engage actively in service planning and skill development. Key tasks include:

  • Providing individualized support and training to promote healthy behaviors and coping mechanisms;
  • Facilitating workshops and group sessions focused on life skills, emotional regulation, and social connections;
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and coordination.
Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive compensation package, including:

  • $45,000 per year salary;
  • Four weeks paid vacation annually;
  • Thirteen paid holidays and four personal days;
  • One sick day per month, accruable up to 150 days;
