**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Good Shepherd Services. In this role, you will provide clinical and therapeutic counseling services to residents of the McLaughlin East Harlem Residence, while adhering to the Sanctuary Model of care.

Your responsibilities will include facilitating regular psychoeducational groups on various topics, supporting self-sufficiency work, and arranging wrap-around services as needed.

You will also be responsible for documenting case information using the Sales Force database system and effectively implementing the Sanctuary Model tools to create a non-violent and trauma-sensitive culture.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of trauma-informed care and be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.

**Requirements:**

  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
  • NY LMSW or LMHC certification
  • Experience working with youth and families
  • Strong communication skills

**Estimated Salary:** $72,500 - $82,500 per year
