Job Summary

Pomp's Tire Service is seeking a skilled Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on commercial vehicles, including oil changes, lubrications, and fluid checks.
  • Inspect vehicles to identify potential issues and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Repair or replace worn or damaged parts, such as brakes, suspension components, and steering systems.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a commercial or fleet maintenance setting
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and repair mechanical and electrical issues
  • Prior knowledge of automotive systems, including transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks with precision and efficiency
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally
