As a Maintenance Supervisor at Aspire Bakeries, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for championing a culture of empowerment and learning, guiding teams to optimize performance through coaching, communication, and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Manage contractor work and maintain detailed records of completed repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Assess, train, and mentor direct reports to optimize their performance and personal growth.
  • Communicate performance standards and expectations to employees, recognizing and rewarding individual and team accomplishments.
  • Coordinate and monitor the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure accurate tracking of maintenance activities.
  • Perform root cause analysis of machine downtime and recommend improvements.
  • Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess progress against objectives.
  • Conduct regular audits of maintenance activities and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required.
  • Knowledge of equipment setup, functions, operating procedures, and preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
  • Ability to read instructions, maintenance manuals, drawings, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working in a maintenance department, preferably in an automated food processing plant.
