Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Helpdesk Operations: Manage and respond to helpdesk reported issues, documenting and tracking incidents and resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Endpoint Management: Configure, install, and deploy endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Software Installation and Upgrades: Install and upgrade software applications, ensuring compatibility and smooth operation.
- Testing and Documentation: Participate in testing and documentation of software pre-pilots, pilots, and roll-outs.
- Security and Compliance: Monitor and respond to security alerts, system failure alerts, and other notifications, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Patch Management: Manage and implement patch management processes, ensuring that all systems and applications are up-to-date and secure.
- Network and Telephony Support: Assist with routers, switches, and telephony technologies, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Assist with support for Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plans, ensuring that all systems and applications are recoverable in the event of a disaster.
- Technical Documentation: Write technical documentation for internal knowledge base on identified issues, resolutions, and work-arounds on bank applications.
- Self-Motivation: Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational Skills: Effective organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and users.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish is required.
- Education and Experience: Preferred but not required, an Associate's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience in the Information Technology field. Certifications in Information Technology like Network+, A+, MCSA, etc. is a plus. Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in maintaining essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware technologies.
