Substance Abuse Treatment Professional sought for full-time position at Massachusetts Detox Centers. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will provide confidential addiction counseling and education to individuals, families, and the community.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about working in substance use disorder treatment and has previous experience with case management.
">The Substance Abuse Treatment Professional will be responsible for:
- Completing clinical documentation for caseload, including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and individual progress notes.
- Developing discharge/transfer plans to ensure movement to appropriate levels of care.
- Contacting referral sources and coordinating ongoing care with the treatment team, substance abuse treatment providers, healthcare providers, community resources, and family members.
- Participating as a member of a multidisciplinary team for assigned patients.
Requirements for the Substance Abuse Treatment Professional position include:
- Previous experience with substance use disorder treatment and case management.
- Able to assess, plan services, and deliver services to individuals in need of substance abuse treatment.
- Ability to establish rapport, gather data, determine readiness for individual treatment and change, and apply accepted criteria for diagnosis of substance use disorders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of accepted principles of patient record management.
