Responsibilities
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment plan meetings to ensure effective coordination of care.
  • Share pertinent information with the team regarding patient progress and family dynamics.
  • Attend daily and weekly staffing meetings to stay informed about treatment progress and plan adjustments.
  • Evaluate the impact of therapeutic interventions on the therapeutic milieu.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions in accordance with BSAS regulations.
  • Perform individual therapy sessions with patients and their families.
  • Document patient progress and interventions provided in the medical record.
  • Respond to psychiatric crisis situations and provide necessary interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Provide patients with education and instruction on advance directives.
