Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team at Massachusetts Detox Centers. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing patient care activities and performing therapy sessions as directed by the attending physician and Clinical Director.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in chemical dependency - psychiatric settings and possess working knowledge of a 12-step treatment model. A master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required, with licensure preferred. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about Joint Commission Standards and demonstrate proficiency in communication and written skills.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $63,000 per year, paid in bi-weekly installments. Benefits include 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a generous sign-on bonus of $5,000 paid in increments of $1,000 monthly after four months of employment.

About the Role:

  • Perform patient care activities and provide therapy sessions as directed by the attending physician and Clinical Director.
  • Collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate treatment plans and assist in discharge planning.
  • Document patient progress and interventions in the medical record on an ongoing basis.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure seamless care.
