The LifeVest is designed for patients at risk of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), offering protection during their fluctuating health conditions. Its lightweight design ensures patients can engage in their daily activities while feeling secure against SCA.
This role is ideal for healthcare professionals with experience in patient care and education, providing an opportunity to enhance their income. Typically, LifeVest patients are in the hospital awaiting discharge, and the Patient Care Specialist will set up the equipment and instruct patients and their caregivers on its use and care. Follow-up with patients is also essential to ensure understanding and satisfaction. PSRs enjoy the flexibility to accept or decline assignments based on their availability, with most tasks scheduled during free time—before or after work, or on days off.
