Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team at Atrium Health. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver top-notch care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze patient data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to attain expected outcomes.
  • Implement care delivery and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
  • Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
  • Practice in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
  • Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers.
  • Promote shared governance and contribute to quality nursing practice.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state where you work and reside.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds.
  • Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch.
  • Finger dexterity.
  • Critical thinking and ability to concentrate.
