Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team at Atrium Health Union Levine Children's. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to children from birth to 18 years old, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety, quality, and satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric emergency care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and open communication.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the state of North Carolina or eligibility for licensure.
  • At least 2 years of experience in pediatric emergency nursing or a related field.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a focus on staying current with best practices and advancements in pediatric emergency care.
