Position Overview:

As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee the daily functions of our kitchen, ensuring the proficient and effective preparation of top-notch dishes. Your leadership will be vital in managing kitchen personnel, coordinating food supplies, maintaining stock levels, and guaranteeing compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Management: Inspire, train, and empower kitchen staff to excel in their roles. Promote a collaborative work atmosphere and encourage teamwork.
  • Menu Development & Implementation: Work alongside the chef to design and refresh the menu. Ensure uniformity in food preparation and presentation.
  • Inventory & Supply Management: Keep track of inventory levels and procure supplies as necessary. Cultivate vendor relationships to secure the highest quality and pricing.
  • Cost Management: Supervise food costs, labor expenses, and waste to enhance profitability. Implement cost-saving strategies without sacrificing quality.
  • Food Safety & Hygiene: Ensure all kitchen operations adhere to health and safety standards. Maintain a tidy and organized kitchen space.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee food quality from preparation to serving, ensuring all dishes meet our esteemed standards before reaching customers.
  • Issue Resolution: Tackle any challenges that arise during service, whether related to personnel, equipment, or customer feedback.
  • Staff Scheduling: Develop and manage kitchen staff schedules to guarantee sufficient coverage during all shifts.
  • Training & Growth: Provide continuous training to kitchen staff, ensuring they possess the skills and knowledge necessary for their roles.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, or in a comparable role within a high-volume dining establishment.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety protocols and best practices.
  • Outstanding leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Culinary school degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong grasp of cost management and inventory oversight.
  • Capacity to foster a positive and productive workplace.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
