Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and diligent Facility Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of our organization. In this role, you will ensure that our facilities are clean, organized, and ready for use by our community members and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, and managing waste disposal.
  • Prepare and dismantle spaces for meetings and events as required.
  • Maintain and enhance outdoor areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Carry out minor repairs, painting, and maintenance projects as needed.
  • Manage building access based on scheduled shifts.
  • Report maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Availability for shifts that may include evenings and weekends.

  • Relevant experience in a similar position.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with effective communication skills to interact with community members and colleagues.
