About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Covenant Living. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our campus, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas, adhering to established schedules and departmental standards.
  • Complete minor maintenance tasks, including light bulb replacement, toilet plunging, and battery changes.
  • Assist in emergency spill cleanups and participate in project cleaning tasks, such as wall, ceiling, and window cleaning.
  • Remove trash and recyclables from collection points and transport them to designated areas.
  • Deep clean rooms and units as needed, following departmental standards.
  • Participate in the campus linen program, including distribution, collection, and preparation for pick-up.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and report any necessary repairs.
  • Observe and report any facility maintenance needs.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Housekeeping and/or general maintenance experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written, with residents and staff.
  • Dependability, common sense, and the ability to organize daily cleaning schedules.
  • Interest in working with older adults.
