As the Clinical Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the Counseling Program. Your responsibilities will include providing direct services as necessary and ensuring public awareness of the unit's offerings.
This role requires a high level of independence while adhering to established procedures and complying with agency, federal, and state regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage intake processes and referrals. Ensure equitable case assignments. Oversee case assessments, treatment plans, and service delivery until case closure. Deliver direct therapeutic services to clients. Prepare intakes, reports, and case closures in accordance with unit standards. Conduct psychosocial assessments as needed. Provide clinical evaluations and submit written reports as per policy and contractual obligations. Offer consultation to other departments as required. Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and successfully complete audits. Maintain accurate case documentation to meet insurance and agency standards. Review monthly reports and oversee billing statements for supervised staff. Coordinate staff vacation schedules to ensure service availability. Provide supervision to staff and interns in line with case supervision policies, fostering a cohesive team environment. Enforce agency policies through staff evaluations, conference requests, time sheets, and reimbursement processes. Stay informed about current trends and best practices, recommending policy changes when necessary. Participate in the development of annual budgets, goals, and objectives, ensuring adherence throughout the year. Cultivate positive relationships with referral sources, community organizations, and stakeholders. Ensure effective operations through the selection, training, and orientation of new staff members. Attend project team and community committee meetings as needed. Ensure availability of a 24-hour on-call service and inform clients about this system. Guarantee timely billing and collection of fees. Develop and maintain accreditation requirements for COA and substance abuse. Establish and uphold contracts for psychological and psychiatric services. Ensure compliance with care coordination policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field from an accredited institution. Minimum of two (2) years of post-Master's clinical experience. Strong clinical, therapeutic, and crisis intervention skills. Proven supervisory, verbal, and written communication abilities. Possession of professional licensure or registration. Capability to assist in budget development and management for the counseling department. Proficient in computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a minimum of three years of driving experience. Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with adequate insurance coverage. Successful completion of a criminal history background check, including state and local child protection agency registries. Commitment to the agency's Statement of Faith and Mission Statement.
