Position Overview:
  • This role requires a full-time presence in a professional office environment.
  • Our esteemed client is seeking a qualified Business Analyst.
  • This engagement is for a duration of 12 months, with potential for extension.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in government IT initiatives as a business analyst or in similar roles.
  • At least 5 years' experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business rules and processes.
  • 3 years of experience in Medicaid or healthcare-related fields.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in drafting requirements and Use Cases.
  • Proven ability to extract business processes and requirements through interviews with stakeholders and by reviewing laws, regulations, and policy documents.
  • Familiarity with formal business process documentation methodologies.
  • Knowledge of business modeling techniques, including the application of graphical process flow software.
  • Capability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, line management, project management, and team members.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • General Subject Matter Expertise related to Medicaid or other healthcare insurance operations.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Project/Project Server.
Required Education:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or healthcare discipline.
  • Equivalent experience in business/systems analysis and/or computer systems development may be considered.
  • Advanced written communication skills with 2-4 years of practical application.
  • Expertise in business modeling techniques with 2-4 years of hands-on experience.
  • Experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or in related capacities with 2-4 years of practical application.
  • General government experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MMIS - Medicaid Management Information System.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced skills in developing process flow diagrams, flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, and other visual aids to document workflows and processes with 2-4 years of experience.
Additional Skills Required:
  • 5 years' experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or in related roles.
  • 5 years' experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business rules and processes.
  • 3 years of experience in Medicaid or healthcare sectors.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate requirements and Use Cases.
  • Experience in obtaining business processes and requirements through stakeholder interviews and analysis of relevant documentation.
  • Knowledge of formal business process documentation standards.
  • Understanding of business modeling techniques, including the use of graphical process flow software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive management, line management, project management, and team members.
