About the Job

We are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses to align organizational technology solutions with business initiatives.

You will formulate and define systems scope and objectives with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Additionally, you will develop or modify information systems while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses to align organizational technology solutions with business initiatives.
  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
  • Develop or modify information systems while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
  • Work closely with business units to gain in-depth understanding of their business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and the context in which the business operates.
  • Review assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological areas for improvement in efficiency.
  • Act as primary interface between Technology, Operational, and Business areas on applying technology to business opportunities, planning, and implementation of cross-functional applications, and ensures adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Leverage understanding of systems and relationships with business and IT players to create a collaborative work environment where performers are motivated to do what is best for the Bank and excel.
  • Provide input to senior management on department/area-level challenges and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of progressive IT experience.
  • 1-2 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Technology or related field.
  • Experience in business analysis, technical and business requirements gathering, process reengineering, develop and implement training, design and write procedures, and application configuration and analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, and/or other process diagramming tools.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet is highly desired.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is desired.
  • Experience with ServiceNow PPM/SPM modules is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Normal office environment with minimal discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, or other disagreeable elements. Must be able to travel to remote company and/or client locations.
