Business Analyst Role

The Omega Solutions Inc team is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. This position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to think logically, and the ability to research and find solutions independently. You will work closely with the Product Owners and business owners to conduct JAD Sessions and develop business rules and requirements. Additionally, you will have experience in performing detailed analysis and creating documentation, as well as strong user support and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for serving as a team expert on Claim Adjudication, Reference, Waiver Programs, Managed Care Organization, Business Rules, and related topics. You will also assist other team members in performing business rules and requirements. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years' experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or related duties, and 6+ years' experience eliciting, mining, and documenting business rules. You will have strong knowledge of formal business rules methodologies, strong analytical skills, and a strong understanding of State/Commercial Medicaid Claims, Benefit Plans, Claims Payment Cycle, Waiver Programs and Reference. You will also have the ability to effectively communicate to executive management, line management, project management, and team members. You will have experience and ability to obtain business rules and requirements information by interviewing business personnel and by mining laws, regulations, and policy documents. You will have superb written and oral communications skills, including the ability to write requirements and Use Cases. Preferred skills include knowledge of Agile Methodologies, MMIS experience (project or operations), and system analyst and development skills. The required education/certification is a Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Business, or Healthcare field or equivalent experience (6 years).
