**Fleet Management Department Overview**
The Fleet Management Department provides fleet services to over 70 City departments with a combined municipal fleet of approximately 8,000 units. As an Senior Storekeeper - Fleet Management, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our storerooms and warehouses.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and training subordinate personnel in the use of an automated materials management system.
- Ensuring the safety, orderliness, and security of storeroom inventories, facilities, and equipment.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventories and supplies.
To excel in this position, you should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of modern storekeeping and warehousing systems. We offer a competitive salary range of $68,000-$83,000 per year.
In addition to your technical skills, you should be able to operate light vehicles and related materials handling equipment, as well as lift heavy equipment, parts, and materials up to sixty (60) pounds.
