Inventory Control Specialist

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Parts Storekeeper to join our team at the City and County of San Francisco's Fleet Management Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, including ordering, receiving, inspecting, and storing of automotive and/or transit parts and related materials.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and train subordinate personnel in general storeroom practices, hazardous materials handling, and the use of an automated materials management system.
- Storeroom Operations: Coordinate with inventory control staff, purchasing, and user departmental personnel and vendors to maintain established levels of inventories.
- Equipment Operation: Operate light vehicles and related materials handling equipment in the performance of assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience as an automotive/transit parts storekeeper in a storeroom or warehouse.
- Possession of a valid California driver license.
