HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at HVAC Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch HVAC service to our customers in the Southern Maine market.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, identifying the root causes of problems and proposing effective solutions.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats.
- Conduct system performance tests and adjustments to achieve energy efficiency and comfort.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and service performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects and assignments.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Participate in on-call or emergency service rotation as required.
- Continuously improve technical skills through training and certification programs.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with commercial HVAC equipment.
- Gas certification preferred.
- EPA certification.
- Oil certification is a plus.
- Must be willing to work week-long On-Call 4 times a year.
- Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds and comfortably work on and set up ladders.
- Ability to interact with customers, explain work performed, and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with co-workers in a dynamic environment.
- Must have a driver's license and clean driving record.
- Background checks are conducted upon onboarding.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
