Position: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: North Carolina

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication capabilities.
  • Create tailored treatment plans and objectives for students facing speech and language challenges.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, either individually or in small groups.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to achieve students' communication objectives.
  • Track progress, document therapy sessions, and maintain precise records of student achievements.
  • Provide advice and support to classroom teachers on strategies to improve students' communication abilities.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience with school-aged children in a speech-language pathology capacity.
  • Strong understanding of various speech and language disorders along with evidence-based intervention techniques.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
