Overview:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care and treatment to patients within a medical setting, following the directives of the attending Physician. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

1. Conducting patient assessments and gathering relevant health data.
2. Administering medications and injections as prescribed.
3. Assisting healthcare providers during examinations and treatments.
4. Performing diagnostic tests such as EKGs and simple laboratory procedures.
5. Ensuring a smooth and timely patient flow within the clinic.
6. Educating patients and their families about health management.
7. Documenting all patient interactions and care provided.
8. Managing incoming calls and performing patient triage.
9. Following up on patient care as necessary.
10. Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
11. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, as required.

Qualifications:
1. Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
2. BSN or commitment to complete a BSN program upon hire.

Licensure and Certification:
1. Active RN license in the state of practice.
2. CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days of employment (additional certifications may be required based on departmental needs).

Physical Demands:
This position requires regular standing, walking, and communication. Frequent sitting, hand usage, and reaching are also necessary. The role may involve lifting and exerting force within specified weight ranges.

Supervision:
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
