Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients in a professional and respectful manner.
- Assist providers with assessment and management of patient care.
- Cover shifts when primary clinical staff needs assistance or is out.
- Room patients, collect and document patient vitals, medication reconciliation, return patient calls, notify patient of lab results, refill medications, and perform other tasks as requested.
- Follow all duties and job descriptions for all other clinical positions at Jacksonville Medical Care.
- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
- Serve and protect the physician or healthcare provider practice by adhering to professional standards, policies, and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications.
- Enhance healthcare practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Conform to all clinic policies outlined in the employee manual or received verbally from a supervisor.
- Keep all licensures current.
- Perform any other task assigned by a supervisor.
- Applicant must have active Arkansas LPN license or be a Registered/Certified Medical Assistant.
- Must have up-to-date CPR certification.
- Must have basic computer skills and be a people person willing to help others and work as a team.
