Job Purpose:The primary purpose of this role is to provide nursing care to patients in a professional and respectful manner. You will assist providers with assessment and management of patient care, covering when primary clinical staff needs assistance or is out.
Key Responsibilities:- Follows all duties and job descriptions for all other clinical positions at Jacksonville Medical Care.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; reporting when repairs are needed.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
- Serves and protects the physician or health care provider practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Enhances health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Conforms to all clinic policies outlined in the employee manual or received verbally from a supervisor.
- Keep all licensures current.
- Performs any other task assigned by a supervisor.
- Must hold a valid RN/LPN license or Medical Assistant Diploma (Preferred as a Registered/Certified MA)
