Position Overview:
Marksman Security Corporation is actively looking for a Security Operations Scheduler.

The Scheduler will be responsible for managing security personnel, ensuring that all Marksman locations are adequately staffed.

This role involves close collaboration with site contacts to meet the objectives established by Marksman Security and its partners.

$45,000 p/yr

Ideal candidates should possess prior experience in security management, account oversight, or related fields.

Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities:
Typical tasks associated with this position include but are not limited to:

• Maintain comprehensive schedules for all assigned security job sites

• Supervise the scheduling process to eliminate payroll and scheduling discrepancies

• Ensure accurate data entry to maintain database integrity

• Manage additional costs related to training and non-billable overtime by selecting appropriate staff to fill vacancies

• Assign new personnel and reassign existing staff based on site needs and established protocols

• Ensure that all vacancies due to absences are filled with the most qualified candidates

• Generate and maintain all necessary reports as required by the scheduling system and keep personnel information updated

• Input data regarding employee tardiness, illness, absence, vacation, and disciplinary recommendations into the scheduling system

• Recommend disciplinary actions to the Director of Operations/HR Representative for employees with frequent attendance issues or performance complaints

• Collaborate with site managers to ensure the most current information is available for efficient staff deployment

• Maintain confidentiality regarding all company operations and personnel information

• Communicate effectively and courteously

• Represent and promote Marksman interests both internally and externally

• Ensure compliance with Marksman branding standards

• Forward security officer and site issues to the respective Manager and HR representatives

• Assist Payroll and Billing to ensure accurate billing and pay codes in the system

• Gather and oversee payroll data, communicating with the payroll administrator at the Branch

• Track overtime on a pay period basis and report findings to management

• Monitor all approved vacation requests

• Address any complaints from Marksman personnel and escalate to management as necessary

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Skills:
• Proficient in verbal and written communication

• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

• Demonstrated negotiation skills and attention to detail

• Ability to track and analyze scheduling trends

• Excellent organizational skills

• Experience with scheduling systems and/or ADP, WinTeam

• Proficient in all MS Office applications, particularly Excel

• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately

• Customer care and consulting skills

• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse employee groups and build partnerships at all organizational levels

• Experience in the Security Industry

• 1-2 years of scheduling experience

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment

Physical and Mental Requirements:


While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to read computer screens, correspondence, and reports in English.


The job is primarily office-based; however, during site visits, the employee may encounter adverse conditions such as rain, cold, or heat for brief periods.

The employee must be able to focus on details, work under pressure, apply sound judgment, and prioritize tasks effectively.


Must be capable of multitasking in a busy environment and handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner, including managing multiple employees with diverse personalities to optimize performance.
