- Lead Quality Audit Program: Oversee the quality audit program to ensure the effectiveness of quality control processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Partner with Purchasing: Collaborate with purchasing to evaluate and monitor supplier quality, address quality issues, and implement improvements to ensure incoming materials meet our standards.
- Lead Continuous Improvement Projects: Develop and lead continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing overall product quality and manufacturing efficiency, implementing statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement tools.
- Collaborate with Customer Support: Work with customer support teams to address quality-related customer concerns, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Lead and Mentor Team Members: Lead and mentor managers and team members by setting clear expectations, holding accountability for quality standards and performance, and providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Manage Quality Budget: Work with the executive team to develop and manage the quality budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and cost-effective execution meeting and exceeding quoted targets.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- Experience: 10 years of related experience in a leadership role in manufacturing, with a thorough understanding of quality control processes, statistical methods, and industry standards.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive change and improve processes, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
