Job Title: Registered Nurse II

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our team at University HealthCare Alliance. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients and their families in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Assist the patient care team in implementing the medical plan of care and ensuring seamless communication among team members.
  • Perform routine and specialized clinical procedures, including conscious sedation, within the RN scope of practice and department policies.
  • Administer medications and vaccines in a safe, accurate, and timely manner, following policies and procedures.
  • Collect and transmit information between patients and providers in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.
  • Document patient information clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner, according to department and UHA policies and procedures.
  • Perform administrative duties, including retrieving voicemails and faxes, preparing forms, and managing prior authorizations.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure OSHA, infection control, and accrediting body compliance.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of recent clinical experience.
  • Experience in ambulatory care environment preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.

Base Pay Scale:

Generally starting at $60.26 - $79.85 per hour.
