Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Technician to join our team at Geisinger Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing and processing echocardiographic examinations, maintaining the normal operation of the adult echocardiography laboratory, and assisting with special procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and process echocardiographic examinations, including two-dimensional, three-dimensional, M-mode, Doppler, and special procedures.
  • Assist with emergency procedures, transport equipment and patients as needed.
  • Analyze and file echocardiographic data using digital computer analysis systems.
  • Develop and maintain internal training programs and technical instruction of echocardiographic techniques.
  • Participate in approved research activities and perform mobile Echo service as directed.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic Life Support Certification, Cardiovascular Credentialing International Certification, and Certified Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification within 6 months of hire.
