Key Responsibilities
  • HR Consulting & Support: Provide HR consulting and support to firm leaders, partners, supervisors, and staff on various HR-related matters.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management tools and programs to support staff development and growth.
  • Recruiting & Retention: Participate in determining hiring needs and strategy, manage campus recruiting and internship programs, and develop strategies to improve retention rates.
  • Staff Relations: Provide guidance and support to leaders, supervisors, and staff on staff relations issues, including conflict resolution and employee engagement.
  • Employment Law & Personnel Policy: Apply knowledge and experience of employment law and policies to ensure compliance and provide guidance to staff.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of HR generalist experience with progressive responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Strong communication, organization, facilitation, and counseling skills.
  • PHR or SPHR certification and experience working in a professional services organization is ideal.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Must reside in or near the Grand Rapids, MI area or be willing to relocate.
