Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products on the production floor or workbench as required, focusing on aviation mechanical, fuel, or electrical components.
  • Position parts accurately by interpreting blueprints and operational descriptions.
  • Secure components using various fasteners such as bolts, screws, and rivets.
  • Utilize hand tools to refine metal parts for a precise fit.
  • Perform basic soldering tasks as dictated by process guidelines.
  • Operate assembly machinery, including drill presses, riveting machines, and testing equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of six months of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in aviation assembly is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment, including volt/ohm meters, power supplies, riveting machines, and soldering equipment.
