Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Petco Animal Supplies. As a Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional guest experiences, promoting our products, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that every guest leaves the store satisfied and engaged.
  • Assist guests in selecting the right products for their pets, providing expert advice and recommendations.
  • Perform cash handling duties, including processing transactions and handling returns and exchanges.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to our high standards of safety and hygiene.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management, ensuring that our stores look their best at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and drive business results.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
