Key Responsibilities
  • Provide optimal guest experience services, including answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist guests in selecting merchandise, including providing product knowledge and suggesting relevant items.
  • Demonstrate a high level of interest in animal welfare, health, and proper handling, ensuring that all animals receive the highest quality care.
  • Perform cashiering duties, including processing transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly stocked, faced, and priced, adhering to established operational guidelines and store policies.
  • Evaluate guest inquiries and refer to Guest Experience Leader and/or Leader on Duty as needed.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual physical inventory counts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
  • Adhere to and promote established safety procedures, maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for store partners, guests, and animals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and pull 2000 pounds utilizing material handling equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
