We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team at Jobot. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace projects, pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation.

The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the design, development, and integration of complex hardware and software systems. They will lead system integration efforts, ensuring seamless interoperability of hardware and software components, and develop and implement strategies for process improvement, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the engineering function.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace hardware and mission computer systems, coupled with a passion for continuous process improvement. They will design, develop, and test aerospace hardware and mission computer systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability, and manage complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading system integration efforts and ensuring seamless interoperability of hardware and software components
  • Developing and implementing strategies for process improvement, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the engineering function
  • Designing, developing, and testing aerospace hardware and mission computer systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Managing complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget
  • Applying systems engineering principles to solve complex problems, developing innovative solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Developing high-quality technical documentation, clearly communicating system design and functionality
  • Conducting requirements analysis, translating customer needs into actionable engineering requirements
  • Managing system configuration, ensuring the integrity and traceability of system components
  • Collaborating with hardware engineers, providing expert guidance on system design and integration

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry
  • Proven experience with system integration, process improvement, aerospace hardware, and mission computer systems
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Strong knowledge of software development principles and practices
  • Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to develop clear, concise documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct requirements analysis and translate customer needs into actionable engineering requirements
  • Experience with configuration management, ensuring the integrity and traceability of system components
  • Solid understanding of hardware engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of professionals
