Compensation and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary starting at $70k, with additional incentives:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute and fulfill requests and orders efficiently.
  • Support line staff during peak times by executing all positions on the line.
  • Oversee the preparation of all menu items with precision.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of safety and emergency protocols.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order expediting to facilitate smooth kitchen operations.
  • Utilize standard recipe cards and plating guides to uphold quality.
  • Secure all storage areas to maintain safety and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Events Department to keep the menu aligned with current trends.
  • Conduct line checks, including temperature assessments and food rotation.
  • Communicate specials and reservations to staff during daily meetings.
  • Design and implement daily specials.
  • Oversee closing duties for kitchen staff to ensure all tasks are completed.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and freshness, coaching staff on brand standards.
  • Utilize strong math and communication skills for inventory management and requisition writing.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
  • Uphold A+ standards for kitchen cleanliness and comply with Health Department regulations.
  • Participate in weekly management meetings and conduct monthly kitchen meetings.
  • Coordinate daily ordering processes with the purchaser.
  • Create weekly staff schedules.
  • Monitor kitchen crew to prevent breakage.
  • Inspire and motivate kitchen personnel.
Fiscal Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily labor and food cost reports to ensure budget compliance.
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and address variances.
  • Authorize all overtime to maintain budgetary control.
