We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Education Assistant to join our team at Creative Times Academy. As a Preschool Support Staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young students.

Responsibilities:

  • Work a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday, and demonstrate reliability in your daily tasks.
  • Be physically active and able to move around the classroom with ease, participating in activities such as jumping, dancing, and walking with the children.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to the needs of our students, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Be able to sit on the floor with the children and adapt to changing situations quickly.
  • Collaborate effectively with our teaching staff to provide a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Pass a Level II background screening.
  • Commit to working the same hours every day, Monday through Friday.
  • Complete 45 hours of state-mandated training within one year of employment.
  • Provide a completed physical or negative TB test result upon starting, with a requirement to repeat every two years.
  • Obtain CPR and 1st aid certification within 90 days of employment and maintain it up to date.
  • Be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and demeanor.
